The removable nature of our product offers the flexibility of only having the Lil' Mynx in place when you want to use it. You regain the space in your room when the pole is not in use. You can simply store the Lil' Mynx under your bed, behind the couch, or in a closet when finished. If you prefer, the Lil’ Mynx can easily be made permanent by securing the base to the floor with screws (not included) instead of using the rubber feet included. The Lil’ Mynx Pro Pole is a 2-piece stationary design with a handy carrying case for use from 8 to 10 foot ceilings. The accessories included are a bolted ceiling mount, friction ceiling mount, non-skid floor pad, stud finder, tape measure. This pole is fully portable! The Lil’ Mynx pro can be installed two ways. One, the Friction type mount requires no drilling or holes in your ceiling. It is held in place by friction (rubber pad). You must still straddle a ceiling joist, but no screws or bolts are required. Simply place it on the end of the slider tube and compress the pole into place as per standard installation. Works great if you have metal ceiling joists, cement, plaster ceilings or anywhere you don’t want to drill a hole to use the Lil Mynx. While this mount allows you to do many tricks on the pole it does have limitations including, but not limited to, heavy side loads. Because the pad is not screwed permanently to the ceiling excessive side load could cause the pad to shift on the ceiling. Never take a running leap at the pole. (Not for use on vaulted or acoustic "popcorn" ceilings). Or two, the simple design incorporates a unique ceiling mount, disguised as a plant hook for discretion that requires only a single screw into a main joist in the ceiling. A threaded compression system holds the Lil’ Mynx in place. It can handle a person up to 200 pounds. When the pole is put away, all you have left is a small disc in the ceiling, or if desired the plant hook for decoration. After initial installation it takes only seconds to put up or take down, with no tools needed. |
